Messing with Normal Maps

I put this thing together with purely normal maps (except there is a texture on the bricks and the floor)

Any comments on how it looks would be nice, this is mostly just a test.

Thanks for anything

Normal maps are good fun, but their biggest advantage is letting you get away with fewer objects/smaller diffuse textures/lower polycount I can’t quite tell, but it looks like you have relatively high-poly bricks (are they individual objects)

Try playing with the lighting as well, to get a better look from the scene. Being lit from a sun with no shadow somewhere behind the camera isn’t always the best option.

If you want to lob up the blend file, I’ll have a poke and see what I can do…

Sure, I will get you guys the .blend (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7YN1w1IyXTMd2NLRktZdHBlTEE/view?usp=sharing)

the poly count, with all of the new stuff is just over 12,000, and I have been messing with lighting. I also need to make it darker (it is in an inclosed room)

Some of these assets would be usable in other games, but things like the door are only one-sided so I would have to remake that.

Thanks for any help

(You haven’t packed the textures. Go file-> external data -> automatically pack into blend)

Thanks, it has been a long time since I have uploaded anything, this one should be right https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7YN1w1IyXTMRTEzeWM0czZsTkU/view?usp=sharing

Here is one with improved lighting
