I noticed in UPBGE 0.36, if I use the UV Editor while I use the Metal backend, UPBGE’s UV Editor selections will flicker and crash the whole application, even though I am on an M1 iMac that supports Metal. I’m not sure what causes this, but I do hope the Metal backend gets better over time. The Metal backend is supposed to replace openGL for Mac users, but if the Metal backend keeps crashing, this will be a problem for Mac users like me. My GPU is not bad at all.
I guess I’ll just stick to openGL until the Metal backend gets fixed up, and only use Metal for finished game files.
