Just started using Blender and have been following the video tutorial from Blender Guru, I am up to adding the texture to the surface of the text, in the video when they go to the material tab, below is a ‘surface’ option with various changeable settings. The ‘surface’ options aren’t there for me? Below is a screenshot from the tutorial showing the options I can’t seem to find.
Are you using the Cycles renderer as used in the tutorial ? At the top of the blender window ensure you have changed from the default ‘Blender Render’ to the ‘Cycles Render’ option. Also ensure you have selected the object you want to add the material to. If still having problems attach orpost a link to your blend file
