I just wanted to share with you this image rendered in Cycles of a meteorite falling on the earth. I know it’s not perfect, but I still wanted your comments on this one. I’ve done a little bit of compositing on top of it.

This looks more like something done in Photoshop than blender. There is very little evidence that it is 3d at all. That being said it is pretty. Nice blue “halo” around the earth. I’m not saying this is wrong or bad at all, but it just doesn’t look like you utilized many of blender’s abilities in making it.
Not bad, the meteorite could do with some more detail perhaps, currently look too smooth. Needs more crevices etc…

But you can improve the meteorite lines with a fast tweak, anyways is a cool work.:yes:
