Mico’s excited bike
…I know the title sounds a bit weird…
I made this game for the minigame contest of NCFC which consisted to make a minigame related somehow to excite bike in 3 days.
in order to play this game, be sure that your video card support GLSL or it’ll just wont work.

Also you can enlarge the window to play full screen but be aware of FPS slowdowns. Also at the title screen press “Y” to enable bloom shader and “N” to deactivate it.
Also in the online version, once you press enter at title screen type your name in then press enter ( for some reason there is a bug with the bitmaps here…)
I love it. I would have to say though, if you had more time to do it in, I would suggest lighting it up a bit more. Not necessarily referring to lighting up the objects (because I recognize it’s night time). It needs to have overhanging lights etc. Just different things to fill the scene.
Very very nice! The graphics are sharp, the presentation is awesome… I want more levels!!! The character itself looks especially well made, did you use some sort of shader for it? The little headlight casting shadows is also a really nice touch, just makes it look even nicer.
A few crits: sometimes it was hard to see what part I was above. I know there was a shadow, but it was a bit hard to determine where I was. Also, I think the game would benefit from being able to see further ahead, currently walls kind of sneak up on you without enough time to move out of the way. Either moving the camera to the right a bit or zooming out would work.
Other than that, very nice job! Show us some more levels!!
kay_Eva: thanks XD but its just a little minigame! controls are simple: up and down arrows
yournamehere: yes I was thinking of making over hanging lights with a spotlight attached to it 3D tracking the player to have a nice shadow effect but I lacked time and rushed pretty much ;(
If I had more time I would have added a bigger level , fuel gauge (with fuel tanks a bit there and there on the stage) and probably some AI to race with

Yeah, unfortunately, deadlines can make and break allot of things; however, I look forward to whatever you make in the future Mico27.
