I would like to share my latest project — a small studio apartment visualization.
This is one of my first serious projects created in Blender after many years of working with 3ds Max.
The interesting part: almost all assets in this scene came from my existing 3ds Max + Corona library and were transferred to Blender automatically. This helped me keep my old workflow and finally start moving my production pipeline to Blender.
The scene was created in Blender with Cycles.
I focused on:
realistic materials and lighting;
keeping a clean and efficient workflow;
preserving the feeling of a real small living space.
Obviously it’s a great job. I’m a bit jealous of the texture of your couch (because at the moment struggling with a couch myself..) The only thing I could say to improve would be the shadow of the shower’s glass in the bathroom, a bit too much maybe. at least I noticed it as too “shadowy” and makes a hard straight line on center of the image. but maybe it’s intended..? very great job
Thank you so much! I really appreciate both the kind words and the constructive feedback. You’re right—that shadow does stand out more than I intended. I’ll take another look at it. And good luck with your couch!
Thank you! The post-processing was very minimal — just a small brightness adjustment in Photoshop. Almost 100% of the final image comes directly from the Blender render.
Thanks! I know it might look that way, but it’s actually the default AgX. I don’t do any color grading or saturation tweaks. After rendering, I only make a very small brightness adjustment in Photoshop. Everything else—the contrast, colors, and overall look—comes from the lighting, materials, and scene setup, so the final image is essentially 99% straight out of Blender.
