Yes, its Midgar from Final Fantasy 7. Its a pain to make, but its cool.
I still have a long way to go on this. The outer ring wall is very temporary. The reactor shells are sub-d’d and are pretty much the way i want them, and most of the shinra building is the way i want it, except for the lower 2 sections that are way faceted. Ill fix that soon.
Also to add, obviously buildings in the sectors, bridges and doors into the reactors, all the wierd pipes going into the shinra building, and those strange lamps around the edges of the ringwall.
I dunno if ill ever texture this, i dont have near the skills at texturing to make it look good. In the original game, 90% of the detail on the midgar model is from textures.
k3wl. been a long time since I’ve played that. maybe I should and see how well yours looks to it. but from what I can remember, looks pretty darn good.
You’ve got a long way to go, but it’s looking good so far. I think it’s weird how midgar is so big and yet when you’re in it then there’s only abot 5 pepole living there.
