I’ve been trying (unsuccessfully) to get Midi Yoke to work, so that I can replace the default lousy midi with better quality soundfonts in Anvil Studio as well as default Windows Midi playback.
Just wondering if anyone’s ever used or even heard of this software.

I’ve used Midi Yoke 4-5 years ago. At that time I used Cubase VST5 in conjunction with a hardware synthesizer, a guitar and a bass guitar.
I wanted to control the hardware synthesizer from within Cubase VST5 in a multitimbrally fashion.
In order to make that happen I used Midi Yoke.
But I can’t remember how it worked.
Yes I use it frequently to send midi between application (on windows).
You use it by selecting it as a midi input or output. Beyond that I’d need more info to help you.
