Midpoint Cutting tool (K) in Blender 2.5?

Hi I don’t see how this can be done. I know that pressing and holding down K and pressing the left mouse button you are able to use the Knife tool. However is always “EXACT”. If I bring the Tool’s menu ( T ) a scroll down menu shows displaying “exact-midpoints-loop” etc as options. It does not seem to work either.

Question:I want to use the knife tool with midpoint cuts. Do you know how in 2.5?:spin:

The knife tools have not yet been implemented in 2.5. If you want midpoint cuts, select the edges you want to cut and W / subdivide.
