Milky Way Texturing Problems


I’ve got Voyager 1 here chillin’ in not so deep and dark space. I want to have the Milky Way in the background, so my guess to have two ColorRamps facing each other with a gradient texture before them. You can see this in the Node layout what I want is to have the white in the middle of the sky, and it has to fade to black.

This was my second shot, and it is no better. Here, my plan was to have black at the beginning of the ColorRamp, with white a millionth of a position after that, then black .05 of a position after that. This has really split my brain into two… I would really appreciate some help.
