Minecraft Arm IK rig

Hi! I’m trying to make a minecraft arm test with sharp bends and IK rigging. I set a rotation constraint as seen here.

Then I set up IK rigging with an empty as seen here:

But it won’t follow the bone constraint from before:

If you need my blend file ill post it.
Is there anyway I can stop the ik from rotating the bone more than 90 degrees like in the last picture?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCED!

Yea, thanks for the images. Here’s the deal as I see it, the IK constraint is always the top dog. It will over ride any other constraint. To control the behaviour of the IK chain, select the bone you want to limit and look to the bone properties panel for an IK sub panel. By default, I think this sub panel is closed, opening it should give you a range of settings you can adjust for the current active bone.

I’ve had mixed results using the IK limits in the bone property panel, but this is where you can control it, rather than using limit constraints.

THANK YOU!!! I works like a charm now!
