Minecraft Not Responding On PC

Hello friends. Recently I built a gaming computer for my cousin. I thought most of the games would work on this computer, and most of them I tried to do work. However, Minecraft is not responding. Can anyone know why this is happening and how to solve this issue? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
The configuration of the computer is as follows:

Intel i5 9th gen

16 gb

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

18.5 inch display

1 TB HDD
