I’m currently looking for people to help me on a personal project that I have been working on for a while. The animation series in which I want to create is short movie clips on a film that I have scripted. Theme is a darkish new mediaeval style of creation with big swords and Gothic clothing (skulls and other dark stuff.) Script and story will be explained once development team is ready and set in place.
There are no guarantee 's that money will be gained however I will be producing the movies and having them go viral once completed. Long term goal (planned) would have an animation studio where paid work will be coming in.
There are a few main roles hat are needed:
Model artist - (body [human and non])
Facial artist - (human and non)
Weaponry artist - (Guns and swords)
Armour artist - (clothing [both cloth and metalwork])
Scene artist - (both city and jungle and special scenes)
Animation assistants
Coders
Pizza guy (because every good team needs one.)
Main traits needed:
English language (Sorry communication is key here, as long as you can understand English that’s good enough)
Able to take direction - very important, although creativity is good, I need people to follow specs of what I ask for. However Putting your own spin on things is good as long as it keeps to what I need. For example: if I ask for a scene in a city, I don’t want a park scene with the city in the background :P.
Experienced with blender and other animation tools.
About myself:
I have just completed University and want to write stories and films. I see myself as more of a creative director and a imaginary person. I live in England and have done all my life. I have a huge amount of passion for what I do.
As I have stated this work is not a guarantee paid check, it will be a very long project but there is no time scale (to a point, I don’t want to still be working on the first scene 10 years from now) but to be able to say that you apart of something that might lead into something bigger then this is the right place for you.
Their will be regular meetings and updates on the project for the team once it gets started.
IMPORTANT: I need to see some work that you have done, bit like a portfolio really. It needs to be signed by yourself and even dated if you wish. It doesn’t need to be endless just something that shows off your talents.
