Mip map

Is it possible to use mip map on images with nodes? When for example u load an image in the texture panel. You get the option to enhance the image by using mip map or and gaussian filters on the image and also the option to repeat the loaded image. (under map image tab in blender 2.4)(under image sampling in blender 2.5)

When u load the image using nodes. You can imput the image and stick that in a output node. But there are no options anymore to use this mip map or repeat functions? This results in jaggy image mapping when there are to many pixels.

BTW there is now an animate- able filter setting for mipmaps that is quite useful for animations to avoid speckle but still have some detail and/ or NOR
