It seems some tools are not working on Blender 2.79b.
Extrude and Curve Surfaces are not working as far as I have checked.
In Poly Loops tool some times face normals are flipped too.
I’m using ver. 2.1

I downloaded latest blender from buildbot. It works fine for me.
If you have a specific issue with a blend file the send me it and write the steps to reproduce the bug.
Flipped normals are fine. I don’t know how to get right normal for a face.
In curve surfaces:
Press Shift+A - create curve surface
Press Ctrl+LeftClick - Create some points
Press A - create new Curve
I’ve tried again and now it works!
I’m sorry I was just setting the step size too high.
For the curve surfaces, I was just using it in a wrong way.
I should have studied a little more before I use.

Press f6 and switch wrap objects off. When you wrap it.
By default it wraps objects transforms.

but when i clic on warp object and pull f6, there is not the warp object off, the window is empty there is only the
word: warp object

the developers say that you should wait till the beta is released before creating/porting addons to 2.8
