Hey guys,
Been following tutorials for a while now and I though I’d try modelling a scene myself, without step by step guidance. I had help through out the way though, from you guys. Had help with the lighting from Jay-artist, which I’m truly grateful for.
I’d consider it finished, but I know it can be improved. I have no idea how to though.
This render took 10 hours, and about 800 - 900 passes in cycles. Crappy laptop you see…
Edit: Here’s the original scene, for comparison.
That’s really nice! At this point you may consider using some RGB curve controls to push the dark values further down. Notice especially the wall under the window on the right and how yours is quite bright. Once you add a few more of the details, I’m sure it’ll look awesome! Keep up the good work!
Thanks =]
I’ll throw it into photoshop and see what I can do with it.
Nice ZerONaught, lookin good - now what you need is that damn strange black rug on the floor that seems to soak up all the light
The black part on the floor are black tiles, I have nice idea how to make just that section black, as I suck at texturing.
