what is to do if i open up blender and have difficulties first of all opening the recent project and then also finding default set up wiht left out icons in the buttons, as you can see in the added picture? i only know this awkward behaviour since blender 2.44.
is it a program inherent error or my mistake when shutting down the last time?
You seem to have a Graphics Card problem. Try updating the Driver(s), changing the Color depth in Display Properties in Control Panel and/or go Advanced and turn down Hardware Acelleration. Also, if your card supports AntiAliasing or Filters turn them off.
