Missing chunks in xray mode?

I have tried to google this issue but not found anything, as I am not really sure what I am looking for. The missing chunks aren’t there when not in xray mode but mess up when I shade smooth. I am super new but I have done a few tutorials but none of them mention this.

Not sure what I have done. How do i fix this?

In edit mode, press Alt+H, this will show any hidden vertices/edges/faces, which looks like what might be going on

Doesn’t seem to work, tho I will keep that in mind! Thinking back I must have accidentally pressed H at some point :smiley:

I can only see them not there in xray mode. It looks solid when its not in xray mode. But something is going on because when shade smooth is applied it looks weird there.

Check your normals (face orientation) if they are reversed you will see missing faces.
Try mesh-normals-recalculate outside ( shift N ) in edit mode.
