I know Blender has a Mist option where you can set mist to appear in front of the camera. Is there anyway to achieve the same effect but in a specific spot in the 3D world? Say for example, I want my entire game to take place above the mist and anything that falls below it is obscured.
Couldn’t you just create a one poly plane, scale it up so it covers the area you want obscured and then put a semi- transparent material on it?
I don’t think so,
I hope a feature like this will come soon since it doesn’t seem to be really complicated to
trigger relating to the fact that the mist script is already done and working well in-game.
…if just we knew how to re-write some parts of Blender’s game engine…
