Hi all, after hot thread about cgsociety.org I am back with constructive design threat…In last time we heard really much about powerfull MITSUBA tool…And here is first commerce utilization /not commerce like business, but presentation of my revolution concept on much important design and architecture exhibition in Praha…
MITSUBA /big ,daddy" render on poster/ have done 4000x1600 PATHTRACING! render /256 path samples , 180AA Catmull Rom/ for 42minutes on my Athlon 2 X4 , WIN7 64 BIT…
C@C are welcome…
Cool design. It’s nice to see more people starting to use mitsuba. Also it is impressive that it took only 40 minutes at this resolution and it is noiseless. I guess it wouldn’t be possible on yafaray.
Yafaray is my preffered renderer, but MITSUBA impress me with her speed of pathtracing…Rendertime like this is usually in GPU renderers, like Octane or SmallLUX…
This simple scene its not complicated, but this time is really interesting…exporter from 2.55 compile with MITSUBA working well, small problems with materials, like in every exporter in first phases of developing…I am very satisfied, and I hope , that Yafaray 0.1.3 with GSOC improvements will be simillar in speed of rendering…
