I have used the Mixamo addon in order to create an animation Rig. The character was rigged in the Mixamo website itself so until there is pretty straight forward.
Once all is setted up, I used the rig to create a pose of my own (the original one is the T-pose from Mixamo).
The problem is, I can’t move anything beyond the very first keyframe cause everything is messed up. I can’t hit play, I can’t use another pose, I can’t do anything at all beyond that unique pose.
Whenever I modify something, whenever I hit another “action” the Rig returns to its original T-pose and I can’t proceed from there.
This is probably a long-shot, but do you by any chance have multiple scenes in the file?
I’ve found a similar issue when I switch between scenes, if I leave the rig in pose mode in one of them. In the other scene I can change between object and pose mode, but when in pose mode it will keep poppnig back to the pose that the other scene is in.
If you do have multiple scenes, make sure that the armature is in object mode in all of them other than the one that you’re working in.
For future references in case it happens to someone else, the solution is in the timeline editor. There were a lot of hidden keyframes I wasn’t aware of.
Just click on the “view” button from the timeline menu bar, then uncheck the “Only keyframes from Selected Channels” and that’s it. You’ll be able to fix whatever keyframe is causing you the problem.
