Very good work here. I really dig it all.

@Kris: Thanks!

Crits and comments are always welcome and appreciated.

Well done! The vine-y arms, hands & fingers are a nice touch, very creepy.

Love the pumpkin stomach, very creative. Wonderful texturing too.

Absolutely love the model. The texturing, not so much. It looks too cartoony for me.

Of course if you were going for that cartoony look, then kudos, you achieved it!

@chipmasque: Thanks! “Zarbie” turned out good as well. Good luck in the contest. Alot of good entries this time around.
@atr1337: Thank you for the kind words!
@place57: Thank you for your critique and your honesty is appreciated. As it turns out I am very heavily influenced by comic books, so alot of my projects have a toony feel to them and the effect was a desired one. Perhaps one day I will try to attempt something more realistic. Thanks again.

@jayson very good idea :wink: You made all in Blender?

@floo: I think your message displayed wrong. A quick breakdown. It was a 15 000 tri limit, so still low poly. In blender, I created a base mesh and sculpted it to get my geometry for normal maps. I used texture paint for adding base colors to the high poly mesh. I then took these images into gimp to add details. Back in blender I created a low poly with better topology and baked all the maps from the high poly onto that. Then to gimp to complie all my textures. In Blender I posed and rendered out the final low poly character with lighting on to a transparent background. Then in gimp I created my backdrop and text and dropped in the rendered character images. But… to answer your question, all 3D was done in blender, 2D in gimp. Thanks.

Those long pointy claws combined with emotional outbursts of pregnancy hormones look very dangerous! And scary! That’s why I like your concept. The execution is excellent, you got skills man!

@Duy3: Thanks, that’s really encouraging to hear.
