Hi , does anyone know where i can find a tutorial on mixing a video of myself with 3d stuff?
You know to make stuff like if i had a laser beam on my hand or something like this .
Thanx man !
Im doing them , but i got a problem following this tutorial
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Tutorials/Compositing/ChromaKey
in this part :
create an 3 image input nodes and select garbage mask we created, the raw footage, and the background image an inputs for each node.
how do i create a image input node ?and select the garbage mask , the raw footage …
i can add a input node , select texture and select a image , but fisrt i had to add a plane and add this texture to it , ( this is not in the tutorial ) but then it says , add another node and use the mask we created and the raw footage , but when i click on the browse text from the node , i just dont see the mask we created and the raw footage as an option , and it is logical , because they are not textures , the garbage mask is a curve and the raw footage is only in the backgrond view.
how can i then continue this totorial?
You’re in material node ?
Or in render node ?
The nodes by default opens in material nodes, check on the node editor header, there’s a switch between material and render nodes …
yes it works !
But now i got a new problem.
It says to open a new blend. ok i do so , but then it says to : create an 3 image input nodes and select garbage mask we created, the raw footage, and the background image an inputs for each node.
But , how can i select the garbage mask and raw footage… if its a new blend ? i should append them right ? or not ?
Beacuse , ok i add the image node , but when i try to select the garbage mask , i cant , because is in the other blend.
so what dhould i do ?
You have to render out an image (sequence) (or just a single image for testing one frame) of the garbage matte to an image file. (png / jpg … etc).
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Tutorials/Compositing/GarbageMatte
“Be sure to set the output image type and render path. I like to keep everything separate, so we’ll create a garbage mask directory to store our files in from this render. I also find that image sequences are easier to work with so we’ll render those.”
Hi , im still doing this tutorial
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Tutorials/Compositing/ChromaKey
But when i get to the chroma key node method , it says :
The other method of pulling a key from an image based on it’s background is done using the chroma key node.
But how ? i connected it like the diference one was , but i get no results , here’s a screen shot.
Can anyone help . thanx ;D
Hi there,
I recently put together a chromakey setup that makes great mattes, and does fine edges, etc. It can be found here:
The password is “Bridges”
Hope it works for you
