does motion capture save you money when you are making a movie?
Depends on whether the mo-cap system or hiring an animator is more expensive in the long run. Mo-cap is certainly easier, in some cases you can even capture facial movements. If you already have a system, then I would say yes, mo-cap saves you money. But what do I know?..
