Yeah, give me a few minutes ( Im climbing in a huge GN node tree and not getting the outputs to the modifier I was expecting…in the process of regrouping everything and re-grouping…ackk)
I think the problem is you have 1 hole…and I created a sheet of holes…

OK…here is my file…Instead of a single hole, I made a Sheet of Holes ( as I used it on a cylinder when created)
and that allowed me to map the holes to the UV easier…
will try to test that later on today
there is another older way i found
using the bevel and wireframe modifier to do it with square holes
wish there was some rounded holes instead LOL
