I have been using Blender for a few months now and feel like I have the interface and basic modeling down pretty well. What I would like to do is move onto some of the more advanced, but I’m pretty clueless when I get past basic objects. Could someone recommend a tutorial that uses some of the more advanced techniques that I would need for making a car model, for exmaple.

that car tutorial is very good. That is where I learned most of my advanced techniques. I have been refining them, but that is where I got my start into the “not an extruded primitive” modeling catagory.
