Modeling Techniques

Hello again,
Just wanted to ask a few questions about modeling in blender.

Now I know there are a few different techniques for modeling. And I assume you’d use a different technique for different types of objects ( say something organic vs mechanical ). I was just wondering what style of modeling you prefer to use, and any tips / techniques you could offer a newbie ?

Thanks in advance!

Searching for “modeling AND technique” (minus the quotes) gets you those, and thats just a few from the first page. Please search next time.

lol, well I guess I am old school. I box model more often than anything else. It always amazes me how many things start out as a cube first. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d suggest trying each method, there are plenty of tutorials around covering the basics of each method, then go with the one that works best for you. You will probably find that it is actually a combination of methods that gets the job done. At least thats how it works in my case.
