Modelling a car in MODO vs Blender

Hi. In MODO the technique I followed was I used curve tool to draw the cage of the body of car and then use patch tool between 4 curves to fill them with quad geometry.
How can I apply the same workflow in Blender or is there a better way? can we use grease pencil instead of using beizer curves ?
Any references or tutorials which can help!
Thanks.

I think there is a spline patch addon somewhere.

I didn’t find this add-on but still it is hard to make that cage using splines in blender with those handles and arrows. It feels so complex. On the other side it is a simple spline curve tool in modo, minimal and simple.
How can I have something like this in blender?
