Modelling detailed coving moulding

Hey there,

I’m currently trying to replicate an image which has a more detailed coving then I’m used to. Usually I’d use curves and the bevel to just create a basic shape, but the repeating pattern has got me stumped. Below is the coving I’m trying to recreate:

I’ve tried to use my normal process using the curve with bevel object for the usual shape, and then tried using a mix of Array and Curve modifer to repeat a pattern around the more detailed part, but this is causing stretching and issues on the corners.

Is there a simple trick I can use to achieve this, or do I need to model each part (i.e. straight chunk, internal and external corners)?
