modelling eyes

hi everyone,
I’m nearing completion on my trex project but I’m having trouble with the eyes. i’ve tried sculpting without using dynamic topology but it’s pretty inaccurate. does anyone know how to make realistic eyes?

you shouldn’t need sculpting to make eyes. just start with a UV sphere, duplicate it, scale down the duplicate, take a slice off the smaller one to use as the lens, delete the vertexes of the larger one where the lens will fit, then position and weld them together. ( remove doubles )
