Modelling inner curves

Hi Forum

Ive currently practising on how to achieve curves within the inner mesh (indicated with the red circle), and I had to add lots of loop cuts and add subsurface modifier in order to achieve the shape that I wanted. So is this overkill? Is there a more simple way to achieve this without adding so many loop cuts.

Thank you.

Looks okay to me. Sometimes I use a subdivision modifier with less loop cuts/support edges.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to make sure that I’m thinking correctly when it comes to some basic modelling methods. I’m currently learning blender, so all the tips are appreciated.

Kind regards.
