Modern Café Interior – Double-Height Lounge with Mezzanine

Hi everyone,

Sharing a café interior visualization I recently finished in Blender. It’s a double-height space with a mezzanine, arched wall niches between fluted wood panels, vertical green walls with LED strips, and a mix of marble, warm wood and brushed gold accents.

The goal was a warm, upscale but welcoming atmosphere. I leaned on daylight through patterned openings to cast gobo shadows across the walls and floor, and balanced that with warm cove lighting in the ceiling.

Also included: a cozier side lounge with sofas, and an alternate color option with green velvet chairs.

Software: Blender, Photoshop (post)

C&C welcome. I’d especially like feedback on the lighting and material realism.

Looks nice, my only feedback is the scale of the marble veining seems quite large

I have to point out that the two pillars look weird in my mind, cause they are rotated in a way that doesn’t make logical sense.

Everything else is pretty nice.

For my taste, the room’s overall brightness is too high/too bright - it looks as if the room itself is already “brightly lit,” and the numerous accent lights and the incoming daylight/sunlight get somewhat lost in it. As a result, the lighting atmosphere is more cold than warm and cozy.

The design and attention to detail are fantastic.
