Hi, I am using an empty object to parent a group of sub objects. I want to apply the Subdivision sufrace modifier on all the child objects, so I wanted to put the modifier at the empty object level. But Blender does not provide the Modifier tool for empty objects… Do I have to set up a modifier for every child object ? Thx.
Doesn’t work that way… Select the empty, select grouped /children to select all the children, do the modifier and then do make links modifier. However! If you change the modifier the change will not apply to all of them and you will have to do this again!
But I am sure that there are easier ways to do this BTW.
