Ok I’ve been working with Blender for three months, here’s one of my most prized renders from 1 or 2 months ago;
Hope everyone likes it.
the moon has no clouds or mist
I’m not sure what zeffii’s talking about. I mean, he’s right that the moon doesn’t have an atmosphere, but since we’re looking at the moon, we’re obviously not on it.
The render looks pretty nice, but there are a few things that stand out to me. Some of the stars seem abnormally large, the clouds don’t obscure them, and the terrain seems a little low-res both in terms of geometry and texturing. Of course, the latter may be a limitation of your hardware, and perhaps instead of stars it’s supposed to be low-flying stardust or something - there’s definitely some room for interpretation here. Good start, though!
Thanks, yeah it’s a pretty average CPU. I’ll try and fix up those issues.
i dont know what i was smoking looks good… maybe the sky could be darker
