More glasses and some other bits in blender/indigo

I didn’t get much reaction from my last post. I assume that’s cos it wos boring! I mean, a mug and a glass. So…, here’s more  .

I didn’t leave these ones anywhere near as long as the last one, but I think they still look pretty good.

C&C’s more than welcome. And thank you again, tr@cer, for commenting.

The first is much better than second, this glass isn’t enough realistic (second render), generally isn’t bad:).

Wooo, this Indigo sure can produce some great results!
The glass is a little thick in your second render.

nice renders! maybe change the background from a simple plane to a curved ‘studio’ background and lower the camera angle a bit. i really like the first scene.

What’s up with the cool Indigo renders these days?

I think that the fallen bench’s spec is set wrong. It doesn’t look natural. (especially the right side) It doesn’t necessarily need spec at all imo.

How long did it take to render?

BeBraw: It took about 9 hours in all (it didn’t have to, that’s just how long I left it for). And the spec on the fallen bench (table) is the same as the standing one. I’m gonna do the whole pic again with some textures (hopefully I can get those lookin’ good).

Thanks for the crits everyone

Nice glass.

Hello!

Very good! except the reflecion on the right glass…

By the way: Someone knows how to do the same (glass effect) on… the game engine!
I know I have to use UV mapping (probably!!) but thats it… im stuck!
