This is a work for school. Here is the final render (yafaray ~1h).
Morphisme:
"Application d’un ensemble dans un autre, chacun étant muni d’une loi de composition interne… "
Petit Robert -1989.
I don’t want to make some english mistakes, so I keep it in french.
I began with an other idea of this work, first I wanted to make an animation but with the time I decided it was not what I wanted to show. This is the first step of my work:
Some viewers told me it looks like a strange body (and under this angle it’s not false, you can see… …no, I’m going to tell that to you, keep your own interpretation :)), but it was not my idea, I just wanted to represent a clay hand in a clay block and animate the hand. So, this comment makes me throw back on why I made this and what I wanted to show. Then this confusion intrigued me, that’s why I call it “Morphisme”, because it was not what I wanted but it was unavoidable under this angle.
I didn’t change the first mesh, I change make a clay render and change the lighting.
Why clay render ? Beacause I think, textures are useless, excess in this image. The sens of this work don’t need textures (on my opinion).
Nice render, feels nice and ‘clayish’ Interesting idea, too! Although it wasn’t your first idea I also always change the underlying ideas in a school project
Very nice, and I like the grey. The only thing that bothers me is how little contrast there is, it’s really hard to pick out the hand clearly among everything else.
Very artistic, expressive, and just simply uplifting. I really would want some kind of feature here in BA like, “add this image to my list of favories”, and if there was one I wouldn’t really hesitate to add this and be it on my top list.
I agree, its simple, yet its hard to take your eyes off of, very pleasing, I disagree with the comments about the contrast, I can see the hand fine, and I think it works well with the image. Keep the great work coming!
