This started out as a picture in my head, I didn’t use any blueprints cos they fry my brain. Wheels and seats are borrowed from another project, modeled and rendered in Blender 2.25. Total time 6-7 hrs. Oh and I think it looks like a Morris Minor.
As it happens I’m after a build for Linux. I just bought the Linux kit for the PS2 and Blender is the first thing I want to compile on it. Why not do this with a Tuhopuu version.
That would be most welcome Ztonzy. :Z
AS for any special requests, I had a thought about Cylinders. When you add a cylinder in blender, then subsurf it, you get lots of smoothing issues. Perhaps the cylinder could be created with an inner ring of verts,(top and bottom) containing the same number as the edges. Then subsurf at the edges wouldn’t encounter tri’s but quads. The tris would then appear on the top and bottom surface near the center verts. Just a thought.
u got another wage rise m8y !?!?!? first robbed by Sony, now buying teacher all those apples, u’r current affluence is noted - mines a chicken egg foo yung, hehehe
problem is I guess, that if you will run a binary on your PS2 workstation, I guess you need to compile it yourself, otherwise I dont know if MY build will work on your machine…but I can send you a copy if you like later when I am booted in RH9…
Yeah I’m prepared for compiling it myself and the rest of the things I want on there. I was just going to download the source for the Linux version anyway and comipile it inside the PS2.
So Sonix is going to use a proper operating system at long last… Scarey… My support charges for LINUX are slighty lower than TheBrain…
Fish & Chips will do
