The first start of remodelling my house with a green color on the wall. Always thinking white is the best but try it with blender for the view.
It is not finished, but i would share it with you. Always happy to get tips for better results.

A nice start, you are on the right path, though I do have some advice.
In real life houses almost always have some sort of border at the bottom of walls. Try it and it will add a lot of realism.
The window feels incomplete. Maybe it’s the fact the green wall is visible on the outside, or maybe the design of the window’s frame feels too simple (they tend to be much thicker and more complex, though it depends where you live). Also, did you plan on adding blinds or curtains of some sort?
The light from the windows is too dark. Judging by the image on the outside and the color of the light coming in, this is meant to be a daytime picture. This means the outdoors would be much brighter, to the point of being almost white and there would be a lot more light coming in.
The lamps above the table seem like they emit a perfectly white light. This would be highly unlikely in real life. Most light bulbs are various degrees of yellow and some are slightly blue.
Are the walls perfectly diffuse? At least where I live, wall paint is a bit glossy.
I think your right, only the wall is not paint but plaster. And there are coming curtains and basebords.
So i will be send an update
Even a plaster wall would be painted, I would think, so I’d agree with etn about that…
Overall, I think you have a great start. I really like the pictures on the walls. Even if you’re going for a “staged” look, I think you’ll need more stuff on the bookshelves and a few other places. If you want it to look more like a used, lived in space, you’ll want to include a lot of knick knacks, mismatched stuff scattered around, thinking about the person who lives there and what interests they might have.
I think the texture on the floor and tables seem a bit too uniform and even. Especially the floor would have some tiled variety to it rather than one flat continuous piece. Doing this to the tables would be easy… add in a couple of loops and flip alternating UV sections. The floor would take a bit more to get the proper variety in. Otherwise, the grains in the tables and other pieces (as far as I can see in this image) seem to be going in the correct directions.
Again, great start! Looking forward to seeing this progress!
