Most noobish question ever...... (changing drag selection box type)

Hello, i am very new to blender (1st proper day) and have begun my learning campaign by watching and reading a few tutorials. However there is one big question i need help with. At the moment my multiple selection box method (pressing CTRL + left click) is a lasso type tool. I want to change this to another style of section box… I know it can be done but how do i change this to the normal windows style click + drag square box. Thanks if anyone wants to help me!

to select with in a box style, simply press the B key and drag the box with the left mouse button

Press B a second time to use a selection circle, which can be scaled up or down through use of the mouse scroll wheel. I find the selection circle to be more effective in most cases, but you can decide for yourself. :slight_smile:
