Motion blur in eevee doesn't affect all objects

I’m trying to do a banner animation. Motion blur mostly works, but some text objects don’t get blurred. The word “Sweet” for example.

Figured it out myself… it seems that you can’t use the alpha blend material mode with motion blur.
