A little test of motion tracking in Blender. I used Syntheyes for creating the camera solution, imported into Blender to add in the sake set.
I know the motion tracking wasn’t done in Blender, but I was a bit more interested in just learning the basics of working with camera tracked data in Blender.
I know it is very short and you might have to hit reload a couple of times, but overall I think it came out pretty convincing. Since it was just a test, I didn’t texture it.
I followed Sabastian Koeng’s tutorial on cmivfx. I did multiple render passes and then combined then back in the compositing to modify the AO, shadows, and environment lighting. Anyway, just a little test.
