This is a (moderately) low poly game character based on the graphic novel series Mouse Guard. It has under 3000 polys with a pretty good topology. I have rigged it with a full body rig with minimal facial control (mostly the ears). I did the texturing in Corel Painter Essentials 4 with the Bamboo Tablet I got for Christmas. I am working on weapons and a cloak right now and after I am done with the character I will post the game progress in the game development forum. Please tell me what you think!
The proportions look pretty good from what I remember of the illustrations. The only thing bugging me is the textures. I think they need more detail or variation. It might just be the lighting in this shot, though. Good work overall.
I did a little work on the textures and added his sword. Please post any crits you have and tell me what you think!

Hey!
I think he looks very cool with te following issues: I don’t understand what’s going on with the ears or the eyes. an the body looks flat, as if someone painted the textures onto a piece of cardboard and cut them out. Some more definition or perhaps better lighting might make him look more 3d. Love the sword!

The ears and eyes are stylized if that’s what you meant…it’s based off of a graphic novel. I’ll work on the lighting a little bit and post better images soon.
Awesome, I love mouse guard.
