Hi everyone!
Great forum, it has been a great source of information while learning Blender
Now on to the question;
I’m working with video and using Motion Tracking to create tracking paths on certain areas of the video.
What I’m trying to do is:
-
create a Text Object which will be in a fixed location (i.e. will not move) in the frame.
-
create a tracking path using Motion Tracking so I can create an object that moves with the area in the video
-
create a line that is between both objects, but with the behaviour
-
end connected to Text Object does not move (since the text object isn’t moving)
-
end connected to tracking path moves with the tracking path
I’m able to do items nr. 1 and nr. 2, but I haven’t figured out item nr. 3.
What I would like is for the line to dynamically change based on the position between the Text Object and Tracking Path Object.
Is there a way to achieve this with Blender?
A video of a similiar effect I’m trying to achieve can be found on youtube like this:
