Move Vertices to the location of the Reference Mesh based on the UV Position


lets say you have 2 objects with the same vertex count and same uvs but the vertex order changed for some reason.
those 2 meshes don’t look the same anymore only the uv’s match exactly.
is there a script that moves the vertices from one mesh to the vertices of the other based on the corresponding uv’s?
i heared you can do this in maya with transfer attibutes but i don’t own maya to perform that task.

any help is appreciated.

yes, only that it doesn’t work based on uv’s but only on vertex positions, so that the objects have to line up. :confused:
