Moving a complex model?

With a very complex model of many different parts, some of which are individually moving, what’s the best way to move then entire lot in an animation?

I’ve thought of parenting everything to an empty then moving it, is that the best way to go? Can you parent everything in one go? And how might this affect other relationships that are set?


Parenting everything to an empty or a single bone is probably your best bet. As for ‘other relationships’, hard to say without knowing anything about them. Rule #1 before a mass parenting overhaul, save your blend under a different version so when you’ve fully destroyed everything you can just go back to the working one.:cool:
