moving a cv along uv


my question is when i subdiv a line (line is made out of three points than) and i move the center point of the line is it possible to move this point along the edge so i do NOT deform the polyline? in maya it is possible to move cvs along the uv of the polygonface.



  1. snap 3d cursor to one end point
  2. select miidle vertex
  3. set pivot point to 3d cursor (period key)
  4. scale to move the middle vertex

kind of clumsy, but it works


ah ok i see it very interesting
thats true quite a click task but it is possible.

it would be great if they could include a one action translation along uv in blender for polygones.
