I am currently working on an animation (basically, a short movie of my girlfriend throwing a fireball in the air and catching it again), and for that, I created an icosphere that works as an emitter. I move it using IPO’s, but after it goes up the second time, the particles stick at the top of its flightpath (and more particles pour after them), and the emitter goes back down without emitting any particles. Anyone ever encountered this? I am using 2.3, but I had a similar effect in 2.27. Any ideas?
Does it render correctly or is it broken too? Sometimes, the 3D window doesn’t really reflet the changes correctly before you refresh the emitter (going in edit mode).

There’s a button in the particles bit labelled “Recalc All” - it should fix it.
