Just wondering:
Alex Lindsay has great tutorials about multi-pass rendering, but 3d toolkit, his product, doesn’t do raytracing, which is important to one of the necessary layers in the multi-pass compositie. So has anyone done (or do you think it would be feasible to do) a project where they rendered everything in 3D toolkit except the raytrace pass, and done just this part in Blender, sending it out to YAFRAY? Is it possible to import the scene from 3d Toolkit? Would an animation translate? Should I just screw 3d toolkit and do all the passes in Blender?
