multiple loop cut

how can you add multiple loop cut like 25

there is a way to di this but cannot redo it !

can somone explain how to

what is the loop cut mode ?
is it the Ctrl-R ?

and can we do this in 2.5 also?

Thanks & happy 2.5

I tried doing loop cuts in 2.5 and yeah it’s CTRL+R. I looked in the Toolbox though and, after creating a loop cut, tried to change the number of cuts. It just glitched. Blender 2.5 is still buggy :frowning: I did this with Alpha 2. Maybe in a newer release this bug will be fixed.

Happy blending

but is there the same thing in 2.49 ?

Thanks

yep - loop cut is Ctrl R
and then scroll your mouse wheel for how many cuts you are after

i tried in 2.49 to add one loop with ctrl-r then roll my scroll wheel but i don’t see more loops being added !

so how can this be done ?
also when can you enter a number to define qty of loops?

any wiki page on thsi subject ?

Thanks

in 2.49 - in edit mode
place your mouse over where you want the loop cut
press Ctrl R
(if you move the mouse it will change where the loop cut will be)
at the bottom of the window you will see the number of cuts
you can simply type a number (and/or “s” for smooth cuts)
or you can scroll the mouse wheel up or down

when you click the mouse it will make the cuts
ROLL YOUR MOUSE WHEEL BEFORE YOU CLICK

(it is the same in 2.5 but it’s not complete yet)

ok i see the num of cut on bottom header

nice working

but there is alos another feature with this the P proportional mode and percentage mode
also if i remember well!

also i tried it in 2.5 and not working yet !

Thanks
