I’m currently trying to find out if there is a free program that allow me to save a site and it’s linked site.
so i could go to a site like this one, http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Tutorials.243.0.html
turn on the program and saves this site. the program would also go 1 step further in the links and save those sites too.
this would allow me to save a whole list of tutorial without alot of back and forth downloading and organizing the files for hours all day. I’m trying to collect as much tutorial and .blend file as i can (up to 100 GB aviable on my hard drive) before the 28th when i have to move to a apartment.
This way i can avoid one of by biggest distraction (which is the internet) while learning to Blend better.
The use of those programs on Blender sites is not encouraged because it wastes lots of bandwidth and messes with the server. People have had their IP blocked or something to that effect for doing this on Elysiun.
If you need to learn Blender, the manual is usually enough and once you get through that, try to complete a project of your own. Tutorials aren’t the best way to learn once you reach a certain point.
But surly its better than having me visit the site and re-download all the tutorials 100 times?
Ive look through thier tutorials many times… if i had it in a nice small pdf or similar (pdf is lag whore tbh) than they’d have lower bills /more bandiwdth

Yeah, but if they hit a forum, you can imagine what fun the servers have.
This is why elysiun blocks IP’s of people that do it.
